Return and Refund Policy
Welcome to BookNest's Replacement, Refund, and Exchange Policy. We understand the challenges of online shopping and are committed to providing clarity and simplicity in case you need to replace a product, cancel an order, or report an issue. Please review our policy below, and feel free to contact us with any questions.
1. Exchange and Return Policy
As a general rule, BookNest does not offer exchanges or returns. However, in exceptional cases where we determine your request is reasonable, we may approve a return.
- Evaluation: Requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and the decision made by BookNest will be final.
- Shipping Costs: If approved, customers are responsible for covering return shipping costs.

Refunds:
- Prepaid Orders: Refunds will be processed through the original payment method used during checkout.
- Postpaid Orders: Customers must share their banking or online payment details via email or WhatsApp. Refunds will not be issued offline.
2. Replacement Policy
At BookNest, we ensure your order arrives in excellent condition. If you receive a damaged or defective item, you may request a replacement within 3 days of delivery. Replacement eligibility includes the following:
- Severe spine damage: Pages are detaching due to spine issues.
- Misprinted pages: More than two pages are misprinted.
- Torn pages: More than two pages are torn.
- Missing pages: More than two pages are missing.
- Unreadable pages: Smudges make more than two pages unreadable.
- Boxed Sets: Only damaged books from a boxed set are eligible for replacement. The entire set, including the outer box, will only be replaced if all books and the box are damaged during transit.
Exclusions:
- Minor transit damages like corner bends, dents, or cover scratches do not qualify for replacement.
3. Product Inspection
We encourage customers to inspect the product thoroughly upon delivery to ensure it meets their expectations. To facilitate faster resolution of any issues, please record an unboxing video when opening your package.
4. Order Cancellation
Orders can be canceled for a full refund only if the cancellation request is made before dispatch.
- Post-dispatch Orders: Orders that are shipped, in transit, or out for delivery cannot be canceled.
- Changes After Shipment: Once shipped, address or contact details cannot be altered.

5. Missing or Incorrect Deliveries
If your order is incomplete or contains the wrong item(s), notify us within 3 days of delivery.
- Resolution: Missing or incorrect items will be replaced at no extra cost.
- Out-of-Stock Items: If a missing book is out of stock, we will issue a refund for that item.
6. Return to Origin (RTO)
If an order is returned to us because the customer was unavailable to receive it:
- Re-delivery: We will attempt to redeliver the order.
- Refunds: For prepaid orders, refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
